Sam Moller, Communications Associate

Striving for social justice and making the world a better place are pillars of Sam Moller’s career. Deeply interested in politics and an avid consumer of news, Sam has found a home in Washington, DC, and at AKB Strategies.

Our team relies on Sam’s skill in placing news stories, leveraging social media, writing op-eds, and developing publications.

Before joining AKB, Sam began translating complex policy information into easily understood messages at Ward Circle Strategies. He generated news coverage and communicated clients’ views through newsletters, social media, and other channels. He’s worked with nonprofit advocacy groups such as the Environmental Defense Fund, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, and NARAL Pro-Choice America.

Sam also gained legislative experience as part of a dynamic interfaith alliance at Jubilee USA Network that helped to pass the Puerto Rican Debt Relief bill in 2016. He has worked in the office of Congressman Lloyd Doggett of Texas, as well.

Sam earned his B.A. in political science and Spanish from Dickinson College. Outside of the office, you can find him coaching the Georgetown University Women’s ultimate frisbee team or playing this sport he loves.
